Anyone knows how much of that can be attributed to the change to GPUs? 5 years ago some supercomputers had GPUs but not all, now it’s hard to find the CPU-only ones!

Just analysed the top 100 of top500.org : 4x for the most efficient supercomputers in the world, what was top in 2020 is now at the bottom of that Green100 list. Total energy consumption has increased nevertheless
