The new Spider-Man movie is the first super hero flick since Spider-Verse to give me that “I’m a kid again” feeling. Its cinematography, script, even its use of various Marvel characters - all great! I’m still just smiling.

Wage theft comes in many forms, and once you start seeing it, it’s everywhere. Layoff after ship? Wage theft. Not getting a bonus that’s in your contract? Wage theft. Doing Lead level work but still only a Senior? Wage theft. Misclassified contractor? Wage theft.

They’re double dipping, getting all the profit and not having to pay for the team that generated it.

The new Star Fox is unquestionably the best game in the series. Great remake of 64, but the MULTIPLAYER! PvPvE arenas where opposing teams have objectives to complete for major points, while downing enemy players can also rack up your score. So fun. Here’s hoping positive sales lead to a sequel 🦊

Man, I forgot just how good Psycho-Pass is at world building
The value proposition of working at an AAA studio was that you were trading independence and agency for stability, and that if the game did well, you would keep your job, and if the game did badly, you might lose it. Obviously it wasn’t that cut and dry, but you get it. Now? You just lose your job.
