𒆙UNVEILING THE PROJECT𒆙 Menagerie is an upcoming fanzine that aims to reimagine classic fine art to feature & reference both characters and moments from the show Arcane. Our interest check will run from Feb.02 to Mar.02- we can't wait to see how your thoughts will shape this zine! ⬇️

said it once and i'll say it again. we as a society do NOT need ai generated images or ai chatbots to engage with our faves. if you're down bad enough for a character they will start beaming dialogue directly into your head and you will be able to hear it in their voice

no one is arguing about the prod team being compensated for their labor. anyone who's modded a zine can tell you it's a lot of—sometimes thankless—work. the joy is in creating a project by/for the community & expressing love and passion for the work. it should NEVER come at the contributors' expense

We have been made aware of this document and would like to address it as thoroughly as we can. We do understand the concerns you might have and are taking them seriously. Our full statement can be found here: docs.google.com/document/d/1... TLDR: opinions are fine, slander isn't.

Any business model where you build in 15% profit for your zine business but charge contributors for their own copies (from which you also make profit) is a really shitty model given that it’s the contributors’ content that makes fandom projects possible in the first place.
