Thanks to our fabulous BU Wheelock class for giving me and @mingyanma.bsky.social the best gift an econometrics teacher could ask for: Beta hats! We may not be unbiased but we are consistent (in thinking highly of our students).

As a first-time presenter and second-time attendee at #AEFP2024, I’m thrilled that our Wheelock Educational Policy Center’s strong presence this year started with my collaboration with Dr. Olivia Chi on paraeducators and ended with my joint work with Dr. Marcus Winters on EL reclassification.

At our final Wheelock Ed Policy Center presentation of this conference, the audience applauds after PhD student Mingyan Ma announces this is her very first conference talk. She crushed it. 👏🎉
