Biggest update to sendou ink ever is now live! New layout, friends system, SQified tournament subs, site-wide chat, new mobile UI and so much more... Huge shout-out to @hfcred.dev for all the work on this with me. Wouldn't be possible without their efforts. #sendouink

Thanks to a contribution by @hfcred.dev sendou ink now has an often requested support for pronoun selection! It can be added on your profile settings page and shows in some contexts such as chats, tournament match rosters & the API stream layouts use. #sendouink

When this happened, there was so much panic behind the scenes that never saw the public eye. Many TOs no longer felt safe running their events, knowing that there was intentional harm done to try and attack the SSC, that does all of its volunteer work to help in keeping the scene safer, and TOs.

Worth noting that splatsafety was doxxed and the resulting doxx was circulated as a result of this case. The backlash against splatsafety is conveniently memory holed now but it was intense and quite serious.

i feel very bad for everyone involved. truly unfortunate situation where there are no winners. truly unfortunate that people are still attacking splat safety for this, especially after not watching the video/reading the doc. the whole situation is very messy, and no one person is right here.

I am not going to post much about the Splat Safety video on events between Gem and Six; I think one reason this became as bad as it did was due to unrelated parties' involvement. The one thing I'll say is that we need to stop treating these incidents as sports matches with a team you root for.

We're not in theoretical "they could come after sfw queer content LATER" territory anymore. It is being used to come after sfw queer content NOW. Spread this around, send the article to any and every news outlet/content creator you can think of. The alarms need to be sounded And KEEP CALLING
