I'm Risa from Misfitworks, a Vtuber 3D Model & Asset circle formed by me, the 3D modeler, and Hana, our artist! Contact: misfitworks@hanachi.net

MagicaCloth isn't just for fancy dances! It gives the model a very natural and flowy feeling in all of its movements, and offers precise collision detection that mostly eliminates all clipping. In this recent comm, a simple walk cycle is enough to show off its power!

Using a custom model format also opens the door to the use of unity shaders! It was awesome to find out I could just write my own shaders to achieve effects that are just impossible to do on most pre-existing general purpose shaders. Here's an example running on VNyan :) #Showcase #MW3D

One important thing in this site is that you are not punished for posting links, using hashtags and tagging people. You can categorize your post with hashtags, post links directly to your art, link other accounts, etc. Take full advantage of that!

Did you know that in most popular vtubing programs, you can achieve a very expressive result without having to overly exaggerate your facial expressions for hours at a time? It's just a matter of fine tuning the sensitivities of each blendshape to your face!

There are a lot of things I thought were completely imposible to do in 3D that were very simple to do in 2D ones. Animated stickers on a face was one of them, but with the power of stencils and manipulation of the render queue, we achieved a satisfactory result!

The VRM format allows for basic physics that are more than sufficient in some cases, but with things like skirts, breasts and long hair, it's limitations start to show. With MagicaCloth, a result that is much more natural and resistant to clipping is achieved! Here's a comparison
