I think that's the crux of why Blood Surf feels so forgettable - it's trying to be something it's not, rather than embracing its own weirdness and making it work.

A ludicrous sleaze fest, for good and for ill. The Oily One is a total cutie pie in his weird ass way, and it's a hoot and a half to watch him beat up bad guys and spit green slime in their faces. But a surfeit of sexual assaults and general misogyny makes the movie less fun than it should be.
