I believe in the kind of America where no matter where you grow up, the color of your skin, how you pray, you deserve equal rights in this country. You deserve to go to a good school, get healthcare when you need it, and know that you can graduate and get a good job.

This is legit insane. It requires girls from K-12 to go through genetic testing, testosterone screening, or a physical exam to participate in sports. For feminists worked up about trans athletes, this is the through line. This is where we were going to end up. It’s about control and dominance.

Just so everyone knows, this is a tried-and-true mainstream media tactic. For progressives/leftist candidates, every election is a “crucial test” and any loss would serve as proof to the media that the latest left-side moment is at its end. Any win, though, just means it’s time to find a new test.
Michigan will provide another crucial test of whether progressives can not only keep up their winning streak in safe-blue seats but also break through in battlegrounds crucial for control of Congress. The stakes for the Democratic Party are huge.
