I went to the prerelease at my LGS tonight. They normally run 2 events the Friday of the prerelease, at 6:30 and 10:30. Each event is capped at 80 players. This was the first time the 10:30 event was sold out. In recent previous events,there was a question about whether the event would fire.

I went to my 30th high school reunion this weekend. As expected, there was some political discussion. A couple identified as Trumpers, so I asked what the bare minimum they wanted out of a government was. My answers: stability and a peaceful transfer of power. They disagreed on point 2.
I enjoy NFL football. I enjoy talking about NFL football. There are only so many ways to say "great football player," and I think more people should avoid saying "beast" or "monster" when describing players. I think it's dehumanizing and should be avoided.
There are three major problems in US politics, and they can be boiled down to the Money, the Maps, and the lack of a federal resign-to-run law. Specifically, we're talking dark money, gerrymandering, and a crowded two party presidential field of candidates.
