So, I use some tools that claim to be AI. For example, Koala Sampler has a tool that splits a track into “stems” (vocals, bass, drums, other). I can do it on my phone offline, so it’s not using data center data or power. I don’t think it’s taking work from human stem-splitters. Is this bad?

I found out that my friends grandfather was able to avoid the WW2 draft by telling them he was an engineer working on a military project and it was a pogo stick with a gun mounted on it and they bought it. There are actual designs and plans of the thing. I'm going to write the hell out of this story
