Born in Iowa, but in one of those homes for pregnant teens, and I'm not really sure where I was for 2-1/2 years after that before adoption, so I'm only counting Minnesota for lived in. :) I do want to travel more! Desperately.

I'm old, but I keep thinking that if I weren't married, there's no way I'd consider dating. I never did like it (which is why both my marriages sprang from what I thought were one-offs); I can't even fathom what it would be like at my age in today's climate. Not worth it. Not just for OP's gen.

Interesting how people don’t want government regulation until, you know, there are no fruits and vegetables to eat. People don’t want free insurance until they get sick. Inspection, public policy, and preparation may not be sexy, but damn if it’s not essential to keeping folks healthy.
