This year I’m focusing on helping food pantries and shelters. Crafter, writer, exerciser, maybe an exorciser, history nerd.

Dear Canada and Canadians, I just want to apologize again for the crazy man you’re having to deal with. He does not represent … most of us at this point. He’s like the crazy grandpa you try to bring to Christmas parties and you wind up humiliated. Lake Ontario forever. Please don’t hate us.

39 and 40. Hm. 40 is a nice number. This round was the round of really irritating yarn. The darker hat was made with regular black yarn together with the most thin and uncooperative yarn ever. The lighter hat is just very thin yarn so it takes a long time. But they’re done! 🧶#knitting

Two hand-knit hats. The one on the left is a variegated white yarn and the other one is black with different colors in it.

33 and 34. Two hand knit white caps, one with a green rim and one with a kind of burgundy rim. These are going to the Patricia Ann Cargill Charities organization and Covenant House Philadelphia. 17 each so far. #knitting 🧶

Ok blueknitters, I need your opinions. Honest opinions. I made more mistakes in this hat than you’d believe and I also lost a game of yarn chicken. Should I count it for my charity or is it a lost cause? #knitting 🧶

Sending thoughts to Michael Jackson’s survivors. It’s not fair that he gets to have a resurgence of admiration like this. But you outlived him, and that is a sign of your strength. I see you.
