In case anyone else needs it, the magic phrase for shutting down men picking apart a sexual violence case by blaming victims is: “The only people who would say something like that are rape apologists, rapists, or both.” You don’t have to argue with them on merit when their claims have no merit.

And it’s really telling that I’ve seen men defend those too

I’m a secular (atheist) Jew. My wife is agnostic. I am okay with people of faith wanting to talk to me about it, but this felt like an intrusion.

Most of the people in these replies seem to think the vaccines are all they need. The vaccines don't prevent infections. Respirators are much better at that. Less severe symptoms are keeping you alive and out of the hospital, but any COVID infection is still damaging your brain and other organs. 😷
