This is it. Psychoborg is almost (behind the scenes) finished and this will be my last plot driven comic for a while. This is NOT the end of my career though. I'm still going to make art, comic strips and fancomics, but plot driven stories will be in novel format for a while now.

Sometimes, you have to forgive yourself before others forgive you. Forgiveness takes time and people don't know what you know just as you don't know what they know. We make mistakes and sometimes, we really didn't know better. Always be kind to others, but even when you mess up, be kind to yourself.

It really gets my goat that in the one Transformers tale where Optimus and Elita are not only openly a couple, but a team in modern times being War For Cybertron, they wind up offing Elita. It's like as though the lore is determined to keep these two apart just like Peter and MJ. Sheesh.

Hey, this is a WIP for Smaugust. I think you can guess who it is of. This is a special piece on an especially big sheet of paper, so instead of using my scanner, I had to take a picture of it with my phone, email it to myself and adjust it.

im always excited when webcomic creators make their own site, but not everyone knows what a site needs! i'd recommend adding: - about page (the comic AND you) - archive page - cast page - extras page (art, fanart etc) - links page/sidebar (where to find you elsewhere AND other comics you read)

It really disappoints me and frustrates me when people come up with great ideas, great designs and great stories for a show, but use AI to create them. Do you have any idea how many artists would be willing to do a fan project even for FREE just to get out there? Stop using AI! Get a human!

The thing I like most about 2D animation is that you can get away with looking unrealistic and that in fact makes the art look beautiful rather than uncanny. It's a thing you cannot get away with as much in 3D CGI. I am not saying all 3D cartoons aren't cool.

Or worse yet, they literally are acted and spoken as if you really are just reading rather than acting with any kind of passion. This is why Peter Jackson's LotR is gold standard. Yes, it keeps most of the dialogue exact, but the acting feels genuine and natural. Not like a script.

A cruddy thing about live action versions of animated films is the scripts are treated like "adaptations" meaning the people who wrote the beloved original scripts that are sometimes copied line for line get no kind of compensation at all.

One of the tropes people misunderstand and do wrong the most is the "changing who I am" trope. Sometimes, a character NEVER changed. It's just that they stopped putting on a performance. You see it in both good and evil characters especially ones who are trauma victims.

I have to defend myself on this as kindly as I can because I love Batman and my culture's (Greek) mythology... I am more chill when Batman decides to change the race/gender/etc. than of people taking too many liberties with Greek mythology. In this case, the Odyssey, but...

The number one thing the heroes I grew up with taught me is that even if there are some things you will never 100% understand, it's ok not to and you still support what is mysterious to you if it's clearly harmless. And I wish that stuck with more people.
