i have started watching/reading witch hat atelier after being repeatedly told that it's real damn good, as well as a few people in my life swearing up and down that 'zmeess you will love it so so much', and you know what, they were not wrong. good stuff! #WitchHatAtelier

a semi-realistic sketch interpretation of Oruggio from Witch Hat Atelier, in two headshots. he is a young, frazzled man with light skin, short straight black hair with disheveled bangs and a poorly trimmed goatee. he has dark eyes, thick straight eyebrows, and a slight underbite. one sketch shows him in three fourths, the other in profile. he has a tired, unimpressed expression in both.a semi-realistic sketch interpretation of Quifrey from Witch Hat Atelier, in two headshots; in one, he is looking up at the viewer, and in the other he is depicted almost in profile, from a low angle. he is a young man with light skin and short and slightly wavy white fluffy hair; the bangs are completely covering his right eye. he has a narrow face, thin eyebrows, and his smile causes his left cheek to dimple. he has a pair of small round glasses perched on the bridge of his nose. his expression is mild, but his eyes have a keen intensity to them.

Feeling sentimental over how much seeing Caleb and his struggles meant to me at the time as someone with ptsd and childhood trauma but also the amount of impact drawing him has had on both my art career and on meeting so many of my most precious friends nowadays thanks to CR original from 2018:

digital sketch of the same character in the same poses as above but the background is light and the drawings are more messy and with leas technical skill. the linework is thicker and the face doesnt stay consistent.
