if you came to the job interview with an iced coffee I’d assume 1 of 2 things: 1) got here a little early and felt weird about loitering in the lobby so you went to get a coffee to kill time 2) you have a second straw in your pocket and you want us to split the iced coffee lady and the tramp style

“It’s 3am on a Saturday why are you posting about work” well I didn’t KNOW it was 3am because I USED THESE SKILLS to CRACK INTO MY OWN PERSONAL WRITING PROJECT and GOT INTO FLOW STATE and the last time I LOOKED AT A CLOCK it was 11:30 OKAY

One writing skill I really underrated before I got really good at it at my job is the ability to get into a character’s head quickly. Being able to snap into a character voice expediently has basically defanged writer’s block for me entirely

a remarkably effective life hack: just be nice to people it's incredible how much goodwill people will extend to you if you're pleasant to them

of all of the people Gilda has ever met, literally 0% of them have correctly gotten the origin of her name. Everyone goes “like the good witch!” And I go “yeah 🙂” like a coward instead of changing their lives forever with a 20-minute unsolicited monologue about the history of sketch comedy
