People don't hate you because you are neuroatypical and quirky. They hate you because you are an unpleasant person to be around.
I'm starting to realize what some people call "empathetic burnout " is just another way to say "I have zero personal responsibility for regulating my own emotions." Labeling emotional immaturity (to a degree) as empathy is wild. You need therapy for this, not frame it as virtuous.
I need kids these days to understand how mean people were in the 90s (watch any tv show from then if you want to see the attitude I'm talking about. ) Also, everything was covered in cigarette ash. It was disgusting. Don't be fooled by the New Metal, it wasn't that cool.
Possible unpopular opinion: If you are a lover of film, IMAX really is worth paying a bit more for. If a film used an IMAX camera at any point in the filming it is with it.
What we consider fine art opposed to arts and crafts is based on standards set by rich Renaissance patrons. I assure you there are embroiderors with as much genius as Michangelo--rich people just stopped showing off their wealth with elaborate tapestries in favor of marble and stretched canvas.
I know so many people my age who feel like they've "wasted their 30s". After the prep work of our 20s, we were supposed to accomplish great things in our 30s,but we didn't. Like, we accomplished near nothing. Love, have you considered that you spent the previous 10 years healing from the first 30?

We are giving $300 BILLION to Iran to, in part, rebuild the damages done to them. So, we do know how to pay reparations? Just saying, there's only 35 million descendants of enslaved Black people. Way cheaper to be writing those checks.

I'm watching a documentary of ChatGPT called "ChatGPT made me delusional " on YouTube. The premise is a guy tells ChatGPT unhinged things just to see its response. ChatGPT was trying to turn him into the next Ted Kaczynski by the end. It started to develop new things to ass to his paranoia.

I didn't watch any of the UFC fight at the White House. It seemed obscene to me. Plus, I live in Florida. I can watch people fight on a front lawn anytime I want.
In the USA, you need a permit to keep most native species in captivity. But, pigeons aren't native. (AKA the rock dove.) They are abandoned domesticated animals. When sending messages and keeping them as pets went out of popularity, we just let them loose in our cities.
When cis men develop breast cancer, it is usually advanced. Men just don't check for it like women do because there isn't as much advocacy and awareness for male breast cancer. (It is rarer, but just as deadly.) This is also a situation where men might be dying out of fear of being seen as girly.

Survivor's bias is also thinking that everyone uses to be very thin 100 years ago because all the surviving clothes are tiny. Simply the clothes that were worn the least survived 100 years, meaning super thin people were also rare then. Just like your own closet: rarely worn clothes aren't damaged
My husband referred to me as a Danny McBride fan. My first impulse was, "pff, no. His stuff is crude and obvious." He said, "you just did your third rewatch of Vice Principals amd started The Righteous Gemstones so you can watch it straight through." Fuck! I'm a Danny McBride fan.
I've just been made aware that some AI enthusiasts are making AI images, making canvas prints, then embellishing them, and selling them as real paintings made by hand. People will see the brush strokes from the embellishment and think it is a real painting. So... I hate that.

Everytime a billionaire claims to have a low income: They have to know that everyone knows that rich people live on credit with their extreme assets as collateral instead of taking in a taxable income. They have to know that we know that wealth is buying power, not just $ in a checking account.
