One time I punched a ghost.

You'll know when I come into a large amount of disposable income because I'll finally be able to realize all my stupid joke project ideas like "commission the writing and performance of a PoV audio erotica track about a dude getting his dick sucked in a Foley studio" or "Columbo pinball."

Rewatched the Blade (1998, etc) movies a while ago and I can't stop thinking about Blade's haircut. It must require pretty frequent touch-ups, but he moves around so much to hunt vampires. Does he do the upkeep himself? Does Whistler trim it? Does he have a barbershop that he goes to regularly?

Wesley Snipes in the movie Blade (1998) as the titular character Blade. A composite image displays his complex haircut from two different angles. The haircut is a widow's peak high-top with a chevron cut into the back with no fade. The edge of the hair in the back and sides is trimmed in such a way that it is incorporated into the design of a large tribal tattoo on the back of his neck.

FRIEND: "You guys, I have a confession to make. I hear about it all the time, but I don't actually know what League of Legends is." (15 minutes of explanation and youtube videos) FRIEND (incredulous): "Really? That's it?" US: "Yeah also a match takes like half an hour." FRIEND: "What the fuck."

Camping should be kind of uncomfortable. The point is to get a little closer to the bone, a little more minimalist. I do not respect "glamping." If I wanted to sleep comfortably and eat a fancy brunch I would simply stay at home and not spend hundreds of dollars on gear.

DREAM JOURNAL: I attempt to join a secret order of wizards. To haze new pledges, they trick them into going through a magic doorway, which isekais them into a hostile fantasy world. Pledges must survive for the evening, but due to Narnia-rules time dilation, they experience a subjective 14 years.

Watching the TV show For All Mankind: ASTRONAUT: "There is nothing I love more than my beautiful wife and perfect children, except of course the moon. Man I would throw those dipshits under the bus yesterday if it meant I could go to the moon again." ASTRONAUT WIFE: "You're so right for that baby."

Unprompted Mordheim take: the Sisters of Sigmar should be allowed to take crossbows. A warrior nun with a crossbow just feels correct. They still don't have access to shooting skills, so the warband maintains its melee focus, though.

Purchased some Chuck Taylors at a yard sale today. I did not particularly need new shoes, and these were in fact in a colorway I already had at home. But the thing about the Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star High Top, is that it is a "commodity shoe."
