Lone Tree has a special election today for two vacancies on the school board. City folks think they've got all the gas but nobody got smoke like small town drama. I doubt it applies to anyone on here, but get out and vote if you live in the district.

Lot of story lines being drafted tonight, but a reminder: a win is a win. Miller-Meeks has won in Iowa twice by razor thin margins (and I hope she loses this year!) but that hasn't stopped her from being a ghoul.

This is why I treat the upcoming elections like a fight for life; because this is what I and other peers in the state are dealing with. @theswinerepublic.bsky.social is the most progressive person on any ballot in my state in years and years and is the one I'm hoping for a win on.
