part of why the AI market is pushing "everybody is using it, it's inevitable" narrative: I've seen with people in my life the more you lean on it (and a lil bit slippery slopes towards more) it will make you worse at what you're doing until your output is as mediocre as anyone only using AI to do it

When my "socialist" money goes to help society, that's someone who won't be forced to steal to eat. That's a homeless person off the streets. That's an educated population, which Democracy absolutely requires. When my taxes go to subsidizing the wealthy, they take rocket rides to space for fun.

"Patriarchy" is not equivalent to "men". Marginalized men of all types are evicted from traditional manhood and its societal power. Black men, disabled men, gay men, trans men, poor men, on and on, are all insulted as "less of a man". This is also gendered oppression.
This argument of gender essentialism is familiar to me. I have been told, in more or less explicit ways, that I am "less trans", "less important", "less just", and "less radical", hundreds of times. On the basis that I am masculine. On the basis that I need testosterone. That's anti-trans, too.
Arguing that transmascs, including trans men, are "choosing" to be men undercuts trans concepts of self determination and authenticity to the core. Arguing that manhood is an inherently and universally worse gendered category recreates a gendered binary. We must imagine and embody better manhoods.
There's a misconception that transmasculine people, especially those who identify with the term "man", are "choosing manhood". I find this to be one of the greatest narrative failures of trans movement work. If trans people are who we say we are, some of us will be men. They aren't less trans.
It will be worse than this! Most websites will be forced to ask you to send your ID to a third party surveillance service, adding a credit card won't be enough for most. Bluesky asks for your *social security number* if you live in Texas now, due to this shit. Call in, and kill it.
