@gretchenmcc.bsky.social I just finished the "on the nose" episode and remembered an observation I had a while ago. I met an Arab/Brit whose English speech was nasal but not when he speaks in Arabic. It is consistent even when he code-switches, i.e. nasal English but non-nasal Arabic.
