Head Start helps over a half a million children nationwide. The continued gutting of this program by the Administration only hurts hardworking families. Education is the foundation of economic opportunity & the American Dream, I will always fight to protect Head Start!

BREAKING: Senate Republicans BLOCKED affordable child care. Trump wants to get rid of a 7% cap on child care costs for very low-income families, my resolution would have stopped him. Once again, the GOP endorses higher costs for families to satisfy Trump. This isn't the end.

In just 3 days, July 24 marks 17 years since the federal minimum wage rose to $7.25. Keeping the wage floor frozen for nearly two decades is a policy choice that disproportionately keeps Black women underpaid. Seventeen years is enough. Raise the wage! #BlackWomensEqualPayDay
