August’s #monthlypixels challenge complete, yay! It made a very good art-block-breaker, thanks to @monthlypixels.bsky.social! Anyway here’s a 1-bit summer food cart inspired by the dreadful, dreary, dilapidated and depressingly disappointing charm of the UK seaside 🏖️ #pixelart #ドット絵

1-bit pixel art of a summer food cart called Shade Seekers, parked under a blazing sun by the beach. A set of three pixel art tarot cards.

The first shows "The World:" It portrays my character Opal posed as the figure in the Rider Waite version of the tarot card deck. She is enveloped in a ring with a blue sky and clouds behind her.

Surrounding Opal is the distorted appearance of a certain Tentacled Great Old One that is imprisoned in R'lyeh. His face is slightly obscured in shadow. Six green eyes glare downwards at Opal. Several bright green tentacles emerge from behind him and from below. All the green has a 3D red and blue effect on them.

The second shows "The Star:" It shows my character Patience leaning forwards with her hand out above a lake. Behind her are several bushes and trees surrounding a star.

Patience is reaching towards a shadow version of herself on the opposite side of the lake that is black and white in color. The Shadow Patience has a slight 3D glasses effect on them.

The third card shows "The Lovers:" It shows my characters Twitch and Mizzy holding hands while standing in a fantasy-like environment. The ground is strawberry red with tan sand in the background with red plants. There are shadowy towers all the way in the background. There are large versions of Twitch and Mizzy in the sky.

Three tarot cards arranged in a line. The first is Death, wielding a scythe in traditional black robes, but this one has large red horns. The second is the 8 of Swords (Reversed) depicting a woman bound to a post surrounded by 8 swords. The card is reversed and thus upside down, and the womans hair is dangling as if she has been turned upside down. The third card is the High Priestess, depicted as the silhouette of a cyberpunk witch holding sacred knowledge (A cellphone) in one hand and a human skull in the other. She is wearing a headset with a third eye, with many wires connecting to monitors that surround her. Two of the monitors display phases of the moon.

The Hanged One depicts the Netrunner D in cyberspace, suspended by a stake of red lightning, hanging upside down by his leg.

The Fool depicts the Media Roman Carax, sitting on the edge of a building and gazing at the moon and the stars surrounding them. His camera lays nearby, it's lens shining a small light over the ground.

Strength depicts Talia, vaulting the railing of a catwalk covered in vines with small flowers blooming from them. She has a fierce look in her eyes. Small amounts of blood can be seen on her hands and face.
