She did skilled work for a for profit company -- and was paid nothing. That's immoral and despicable, but it also shows she came from an affluent family who could support her. The levels of cluelessness are astonishing.

This is a good piece, and it implicitly shows that a lot of pundits are probably overthinking this race. It won’t be about policy or Hasan Piker. It’ll be about whether Islamophobia can counteract a massively unpopular president. I’m not sure it can in MI.

People should really read this whole piece or even just the subhed. It's much more nuanced than the headline or the quote below.

Yeah, I'm not convinced by this. First, a primary campaign is very different from a general campaign so I think Brownstein is paying too much attention to the former. Second, in a midterm the key is to tap into voter dissatisfaction and that may or may not mean Trump, as Tallarico shows.

This is a very effective line that’s not at all stupid or self-destructive. I would suggest Republicans continue to use it.

My lukewarm take is that most junior senators don't do much except cast party-line votes unless they're really talented. El-Sayed is really talented.

Just did a quick search and I don't see any stories confirming they actually did this. Seems like it could be a bluff. Anyway, early voting started over a week ago and this is a primary. Is he trying to elect Stevens? Remember that these guys are liars and morons.

Not to mention the right really underestimates how much the left can argue among itself. An echo chamber it is not. lol.
