Lesser known part of this saga is that most of Origins got ported into Legends as a way to replace that game too, this whole embarrassment about their past games has been around for a while. Origins is not only still good, I prefer it to Legends in most ways!! Go play Origins if you haven't

an addendum, i dont want to only make low poly games for the sake of nostalgia either. i think its genuinely a fun and interesting way to engage in the medium of 3d, it's a limiting, minimalist abstraction that forces you to make interesting decisions. i love placing every vert by hand. it's fun!
