I had to highlight this tribute to Mamoru Oshii's live action film "Stray Dogs - Keberos Panzer Cops" in the new animated movie "Patlabor EZY - File 1". They literally recreated almost all of the shots from the original 1991 trailer.

Yes and yes, but for some reason this has me think about how people tend to think of Character Development as "growing and changing" vs developing say a piece of film. The negative was already there, but the trauma is exposing parts of the picture to make things more clear.

In Mario Kart: Double Dash, shadows in the environment do not follow any kind of lighting logic and appear to have been placed solely based on "vibe". This results in shadows being cast in nearly every possible direction at the same time.

I have, with my own eyes, watched my tax dollars in the form of missiles as they hit buildings inhabited by civilians. I'd much prefer subsidizing a grocery story I don't use.

SF6 patch notes are almost always big enough to change decisions in every match but almost never big enough to change outcomes in any matchup. I gotta study what happened with all these blorbos just to have my results against them stay the same? Almost feels like busywork to me tbh

Reading an old 2007 forum post where someone was like "Is Halo the first game with per pixel lighting???" and I'm just glad to be reminded we always had people asking incredibly silly questions. (and no foul to that person, like if you don't know you gotta ask)
played an unreasonable amount of Melty Blood with @evilhousesplat.bsky.social in person today that invovle non stop cursing at each other's characters but in a fun way. It's easier for me. He's on C-Nero, everyone hates C-Nero. I, an innocent F-Len, can so easily downplay~ 🐈⬛
