Silly correction at Cell Death & Disease. Authors elected to correct just one of these images after accepting that there was an overlapping area, but disputed the other obviously cloned parts. Who accepted the correction at Springer Nature? Sometimes it feels like there are no adults in the loop.
So far the German #fraud Jörg Rinklebe, accomplice of C. Sonne, from @uni-wuppertal.bsky.social has not yet deleted his google scholar profile to hide his fraud. But his profile is looking good! Nice output in 2026! These idiots still believe they are legit scientists.

This scheme boosted Ramaswamy's company stock price and generated a $1.4 B IPO, where he then cashed out before the stock tanked.
A tool used to rephrase plagiarised text changed "final solution" to "mass killing of an ethnic group" in a chemistry paper. Now retracted thanks to a PubPeer user who spotted this. pubpeer.com/publications...
We published a new paper in the #CanadianJournalOfCardiology doi.org/10.1016/j.cj... We show that 57 of 201 included articles (28.4%) contain image-related or data-related issues. All these papers investigated microvascular injury after acute myocardial infarction in mouse, rat and pig models.
