@masked-ermine.bsky.social · 2d agoWhen I was growing up , if you missed the episode of a broadcast yeah , the way like 628 months before there was a rebroadcast during summer or if you were lucky , they would do a two by 2 for the part one and part two. We never had any expectations of not being spoiled on anything.

I had a realization yesterday that The Sorcerer's Apprentice is a great allegory for Generative AI. Mickey pawns off work to an autonomous force only to have that force mindlessly use keep doing that very thing and destroy everything while using up plenty of perfectly good water in the process
