The Met costume collection and the V&A are my go-to sources for historical costume research on my projects, and the Edo kimono collection helped me so much while working on Blue Eye Samurai. Having access to museum archives online is an invaluable resource for artists

Btw artists if you want to help combat AI slop sneaking into your research I am begging you to STOP relying on Pinterest for reference gathering. Familiarise yourself with the free online collections of museums of which there are several and how to search them effectively

Gente, só uma coisa, primeira aula de educação em fandoms, se vc não curte uma ship ou não gosta dela, vc não precisa interagir. E mesmo que vc goste da arte mas não da ship não precisa falar "não é minha ship mas arte legal" ainda é rude pra caramba!
