I noticed both AI and processed food defenders use the same tactics: take a colloquial definition and then apply a technical definition in a nitpicky manner. “Oh you hate AI but do you use spellcheck? You say you’re cutting processed foods but I see you have pre-cut broccoli in your basket!”

When a writing org (or company providing services to authors) starts bleating about how great "AI" is, look to see which of their higher-ups has recently set themselves to profit by the grift.
The mystery cat has not returned and she isn’t the neighbor’s pet, so my theory is that she is an escaped pet who set off on a mousing junket and then went home.
The trick with Professor Fate is know if her “Trrrrril, I love you, I adore you” is just cuz or a broad “feed me” hint

I can see where AI can be seductive to the more dictatorial movie directors. No pesky creatives to argue with them! Directors can be really cop-like. (Adds to private list of silent film directors who would have totally used AI)

I have been picking up this late-1990s-early-2000s series from North Light Books inexpensive ly and have been enjoying the way it breaks down watercolor into bite-size pieces. Friendly but not dumbed down. Will do a proper review once I finish a cover-to-cover paint through
I did three versions of this week’s #OliveArtClub challenge, and this is the best of the lot. In related news, the oil color pencils are getting donated to my local creative reuse, and the painted version will likely get painted over into new life as a goofy worm.
