Just saying - Falcom has their work cut out for them with this one because the original Drama CDs for Ys 1&2 were already great and included several characters that are (seemingly) left out of this new version. I'm still excited for it, but I will compare them constantly...

So...I'm gonna confess something: I've never played an Ys game above normal difficulty. Although I do usually play with hanicaps like no healing items during boss fights. Especially with the modern games, I feel like there are a lot of systems I don't engage with since I don't use healing items.

Man, the timelessness of Falcom's texture work during its Windows 98/XP days never fails to put me in my happy place. So clean and pristine, yet still full of character even at resolutions nobody realistically played these games at on release. Some of my favorite stuff of this vintage. 😌
