BEETHOVEN PUPIL OF SALIERI? NOT EXACTLY! You read on Wikipedia & other papers that #Beethoven was pupil of #Salieri, but it's imprecise, since we have #Beethoven exercises with #Salieri corrections & #Salieri for some time just taught #ItalianLanguagePoetryTreatment not #Music!

#Salieri was an extra-rich composer & he was a difficult man with many people: started with mentor #Gassmann, then his #Venice co-citizen #DaPonte who left a very serious denunciation to #ViennaPolice against #Salieri intrigues (still extant), #Haydn(!!!), #Cimarosa, #Beenthoven, #Mozart etc.
