I am developing a deep-seated hatred of AI generated infographics. The coloured pencil/watercolour look is such a giveaway and the information is all laid out in the same kind of way, which isn't even that useful from a sci comm perspective. I am just a grumpy old woman researcher having a vent lol

Today one of the PhD students in our unit was practicing their 3min thesis presentation. They had ChatGPT'd their summary slide and one of their supervisor's first feedback points was "prompt to add legs pls" - poor bloke's torso had merged with the hospital bed 🤣 #AcademicSky

Interesting experience using VIC Virtual ED at 3am... Nice service to have. My nurse listened to me but she clearly wasn't up to date on asthma management which is a bit bad when it's one of the conditions they recommend you use it for.
