In other news - I have a *lot* of creative ideas I'm going to be delving into soon. Not JUST Fiber arts either - I've got at least one plan for some painted stained glass. Magic Rabbit Fiber Art Studio may just become Magic Rabbit Art Studios if I don't decide on some other branding.

It's been a long while since I've given a proper update so let me do that!! I'm currently waiting on a change in my living situation before I retool and rework Magic Rabbit Fiber Studios entirely. Yes, Fiber *Studios* because I plan to work *with* my ADHD, not against it.

I’m pretty sure my brain is currently using crocheting to destress because I’ve legitimately made *seven* of these since I got back from Anthrocon.
I may need to get my hand checked, it's been slipping *so* much....
I was relaxing after the con with some yarn I got from @myarmcanfly.bsky.social and my hand slipped. Twice.
Some of you will recognize this instantly. Other not so much. This is basically a few hints as to this magnum opus as well as the scale I was working at x.x and yes I did the whole thing not just the knitted bit
I still have to make and add pockets, possibly a hood and send it through the wash but this i the work done on my cardigan. This is absolutely wearable and I have woven in EVERY end to infinity and beyond. xD
Do not want to have a night like this again for a while.
So I will be revamping my shop and how I approach MRFA; Most of what I create never sees the light of digital day as I never intend to sell it. That is changing - I am an artist first and I will be showing off my art to the world..and offering it for sale if wanted.
I finally figured out how to make granny squares. :D

With MAHA, surging pro-ana content, the return of "clean and right eating" discourse, it's a good time to talk about how Nazis - and now American White Christian Nationalists - embrace "Blood and Soil" and how veganism can function as an alt right pipeline.
You may never have heard of it, but we need to talk about "Blood and Soil"

It was so much fun coming up with these designs and uses for the yarn! I genuinely love doing commission work - here are a few more samples including one *very* special one from @tabbiewolf.bluestripedboxers.com Would you like something as cool? Come to www.magicrabbitfiberarts.com! <3
Some examples of my commission work! These items were made for @mcmorganthemerc.bsky.social - he provided the yarn in each instance. The second hat is the one I most recently completed, and the last item is a Tarot deck mat and holder I knit that folds in on itself and fastens around itself.

This is my business and as much as I like my 9-5 I would REALLY love to make my living by being creative and making things for folks. I can make pretty much anything - belts, suspenders, shawls, even just yarn for someone else to use. I can cross stitch and embroider; I can knit and crochet.
Looking for the perfect Holiday gift? I'm available to begin working on any project! I an have small gifts - hats and fingerless gloves - done well in time for gift giving and if you have a larger gift in mind, now's the time! www.magicrabbitfiberarts.com

So I ask the following knowing pricing art is *hard* but: What would a semi-fair price be for, say, knitting a short message into a scarf or like the first paragraph of your favorite book into a shawl? (knitting as in, coded into the knit itself). Would $300 be asking too much?
