New OC!Tytoan, a cephalopod-inspired sea monster. Its “humanoid body” is only a mimicry formed by its tongue for communication. Tytoan may be just a simplified name, while its true name could be a sound beyond human hearing or a pattern no creature without chromatophores could reproduce. #fantacy

praying i get picked up by an ambitious indie RPG to do character art some day but in the meantime i just have to put all my single comms together like this and hope someone sees the vision

Lamia (@looceyloo), Hugo (@judenukem), Ming (@mankadavi), Hyden (@chocodile)Mal (Tony), Mona (@miel128), Ta-ao (@mankadavi), Miss Leon (@tainaronian)Meade (@mabevillage), Theo (@kwillow), Ariel (@cayohlu), Warrior of Light (@qlpl) Bard (@ttochen), Thiry (@thiry), Rota (@ceelacanth)

I've had this idea for ages and I'm only just finding my grit for it again. I like that it adds a bit more of the surreal to the project. I'm still building up its narrative and its visuals but it's finding its footing. [ #ANIMAL ]

Hii! I'd love to do some more in this style, so if people are interested i'm doing these portraits for 40$! 👻 I can do 5 slots for now ! This week is a bit rough money-wise, so reposts are greatly appreciated ! 🖤

Animation I made as a tribute to Louis Wain, both to his art and him as a person, I hope my animations convey how comforting I find his art. Each cat is drawn on paper❤️ “I am happy because everyone loves me”

found out about the manga kuma gurashi which is like those ones where a manic pixie dream girl comes into a salaryman's life and starts doing all his domestic chores for him to heal his heart except in this one it's a realistically drawn bear and the salaryman is terrified on every single page

a bear vacuuming a floor as a japanese salaryman looks on in terror

The way profit maxxing corpo culture has invaded every form of art through algorithms pushing people into daily posting is really weighing on me lately. Efficiency and regularity of making "content" being prized above all else feels so grim, man.

I started redrawing my 'the Darkroom' project sometime last year, but never completed it. The allure of remaking a project I was fond of is always there, but it always feels a bit hollow in creation. Nice to do but wholly unsatisfying. Old art I've just stumbled on. [ #art ]

Looking at it on the big screen, there's some areas that need filling in with a few lines but I am happy with how this looks. The style and the technique are definitely what I'll be going for throughout this project. [ #art - #ANIMAL ]

So I'm still rolling off the idea of using flat assets skewed at odd angles to construct scenes. Working on an asset sheet to explore it in greater detail. If I can just pin down the visual style, everything falls into place. [ #art - #ANIMAL ]

Once I had an idea of the technique down, I just wanted to get through the rest of the image to be able to see where I was going with the idea. I'm embracing the point-and-click inspirations the project is wandering toward right now. I played them a lot as a kid, so its fitting. [ #art - #ANIMAL ]

Back to the weird project again. I wanted to use the 3D room as a base reference but I wasn't sure how to build on top of it. I've decided on drawing very flat planed images, then using the distort tool to roughly place them above the original reference. [ #art - #ANIMAL ]
