Microsoft is just throwing all cargo off the ship at this point. They don't care about anything but stopping the bleeding, so any noble thoughts about "saving a great studio" are irrelevant. That's somebody else's problem, not theirs.

Surprising nobody, but I'm hyped for the Ocarina of Time remake. I love the original game, but its visuals make it a hard playrhrough for me these days. I can't wait to see it reimagined. Also, inject that Pokopia DLC into my veins.

XBOX Showcase: Hyped for Bad Magpie, Decay 3, Castlevania. Gears is Gears, but looks good. Halo is a no-brainer, but $69.99? Yeesh. Keeping an eye on Clockwork, Vivarium, Resonance, Metro, Magicians, Valor Mortis. Few must-buys but many "cool, but let's see the review scores". Curious about CoD: MW4

it's not the issue of this story, but it is a transparent example of how the "cars are freedom" narrative is a complete farce. when the state controls your movement and can immobilize you on a whim, you are not free. car dependency is an arm of fascism for the car *IS* fascism and must be abolished.

Kansas is sending letters to trans people telling them that their licenses will be revoked as of tomorrow and that they risk arrest for driving on a suspended license. This is pure cruelty. www.erininthemorning.com/p/kansas-sen...

An official letter from the Kansas Division of Vehicles dated February 23, 2026, with a redacted recipient address. The letter notifies the recipient that due to the enactment of Senate Bill 244, all Kansas driver's licenses and IDs must reflect the holder's sex at birth. It states that the recipient's current credential will become invalid immediately upon the law's publication on February 26, 2026, with no grace period. The recipient is directed to surrender their current ID to receive a new one matching their sex assigned at birth. The document concludes with instructions on how to appeal the notice if received in error, along with contact information for the department.
