A friend asked what my My Life in Five songs would be and I’ve thought about it almost constantly for the last three days and this is the answer:
Obviously it’s awful that the road across Slapton Ley towards Torcross is still closed to traffic after the winter storms, but being able to ride, scoot and walk down here without cars zooming past at 50mph is undeniably an improvement, even when the storm clouds are approaching. #Devon

I've been working on a new silly side-project called Covert Stories which is a set of notebooks posing as political non-fiction where the joke is that there's nothing inside. Perfect Christmas gift for boomer uncles :D They're not quite ready yet, but should be available to buy soon.

Perhaps I’m proving the point of the piece but you might also look at that as showing that over half of the population earn so little that their tax contributions are outweighed by a hollowed out public sector which in many places quite literally can’t afford to keep the lights on.
