I think it would be funny to do like one really cool thirstbait foot pic, have all these feet people come follow excited for more and then Never show a foot ever again the rest of my life.
the light at the end of the tunnel on this stuff is that you the artist can’t be replaced. go actually look at a*art accounts. it’s scrolling slop. it’s one and done, the occasional interesting pic and the rest are literally the same couple pics. They can’t train for your ideas and aesthetics.
iammrkaz@mrgoldylocks.bsky.social · 4w agoi think the mindset going forward is that they can train off your art all they want, but it will still only make boring art bc the user just wants to see ‘X but as hoggan’ your ideas and way of doing scenes and characters are what make your art more valuable than just the execution.
We watched project hail mary for the first time tonight. I instantly recognized the dialog as being from the guy who wrote the martian, which... dont get me started. But it was good. I really enjoyed it. On paper i shouldnt have, but everything good felt intentionally good if that makes sense.
out of all the divisive things i could say set me apart from friends and family the one that is the most hard to navigate is that i just don’t care about spoilers and dislike how deranged people who do get about them.

a lot of my fav artists who do scifi-based monster OCs do robots and synthetics, i think it would super funny if I ever wanted to interact with other peoples characters is to make Vingean despise bots. like big "dont send a machine to do a mans job" energy.
