Been using aseprite to replace some of the base tiles in my game; really loving the app. Also, Qwaky Qwak, PC, Mac, iOS, Android, soon ... ish.

How should a solo indie dev approach marketing? DIY or get help? How to split your time, what % of time on game dev, what % of time on marketing. Also, most effective marketing activities for a small solo dev?

So I recently had an ankle replacement. All went well, but looks like a lengthy recovery period. Not in the best place to release demo and game on Steam, but it’s coming soon, demo on the 30th!

I'm thinking about keyboard input for RR2 on Mac and Windows PC. Imagine most people will use joypads? If not, maybe 1 or 2 players on keyboard, which keys should be default?

If I had to pick a game I know that could be the one-year project of a pair of students, that would rather be sylvainhb.blogspot.com/2009/04/quid..., though. Fairly fun to play, reasonable amount of features. Its developer @mrqwak.bsky.social might have a different opinion, of course ^^"
