We have thoroughly enjoyed our health week and finished it off having so much fun cycling!
Some photographs of our learning in the first few weeks.
Homework packs were sent home yesterday. The spelling words for the first three weeks are available on the class team in the assignments and suggested activities are included. Any problems accessing Teams, let me know. The children should have set their own passwords in class today.
A reminder that it's our Big Fit Walk tomorrow as part of Health Week 🚶👟 Unfortunately, it might be raining 🌦️ so could pupils please come to school with appropriate clothing including a waterproof jacket 👍
Congratulations to this pupil who is British Mini Bike Champion!
What better way is there to spend a Friday afternoon? A trip to The Milk Barn for some ice cream and fun on the inflatable pillow definitely answers that question. The weather was mixed but we didn’t mind and had the best fun. @mrsclarkhps.bsky.social
Thank you to everyone who came today to read the children’s Ancient Egyptians books. It meant so much to the children to share their learning with you. We are very proud of all the hard work Primary 5 have put into creating their books and we hope you enjoyed them too. @mrsclarkhps.bsky.social

A sneak peek at our preparations for our assembly. We can’t thank Cameron from YMI enough for helping us with this particular part. We can’t wait to show you next week. @mrsclarkhps.bsky.social
Congratulations to this pupil who won a medal at his Judo competition and is moving up a belt!
We have been exploring symmetry on the iPads. We even transferred our topic learning to create symmetrical ankh and pyramid designs.
Well done P5C! Your pebble party which will take place tomorrow afternoon. Pupils requested an electronics and PJs party. School iPads will be available and pupils will have access to their phones at this time. Other electronics brought in at pupil’s own risk. A change of comfy clothes is optional.
In P5C we have ‘pharaohed’ ourselves! Don’t we look fantastic?
Congratulations to this pupil who did a fantastic job representing our class at the Whole School Scottish Assembly. Despite feeling quite shy, she did a fabulous job of reciting our class poem The Clype by Shane Strachan to the whole school in a loud, clear voice.
We finished up our Water topic by looking at the journey of water. We took notes on a video we watched and then produced these fabulous flow diagrams to show what happens at each stage.
More P5 Christmas Party fun - congas, breakdancing, snowball fights and a Mexican wave! @mrsraehps.bsky.social
