Hi, I’m KD! These are my words are all to be taken as hypothetical except for… trans rights are human rights. protect trans kids. protect all kids many curse words. some kink. always unpopular opinions. do you like my scaling banana?

tbh I think autism is an evolutionary trait I have yet to meet an autistic person that didn’t do at least one thing way better and more efficient than any machine or other human

TW: SI Thoughts on Surviving an Attempt After surviving, I lost my sense of self. I managed only to erase my masks. I survived in the despairs of both being required to continue and do it with less resources/ added stigma. But my masks weren’t me they were the features society desires. who am I?

here’s a tough lesson I learned: losing access to the prestige of my continued successful career meant losing access to the assumption I am smart and that I know what i’m talking about. even in the field in which my success was based. Ever having been a success is not a consideration.

Things they don’t tell you: Patient Advocates. hospitals are required to provide access to Patient Advocates to assist with navigating the system. PA’s have a lot of power & I was quickly discharged once others in the ward caught on to the PA access Reread that - they released me to not reveal help

They will not let this woman go because once every few months she yells at someone in the state hospital. In order to have their civil liberties neurodivergent folks have to behave better than 99% of neurotypicals

Autumn is when refineries typically shut down for maintenance because demand usually tails off at the end of summer. This year, instead, they’re running at full tilt and will skip the maintenance. I wonder what happens next!

new acquaintance, R, through A, whom I see daily asks me if I realize it is difficult to tell when i’m being sarcastic me: I mean, I don’t experience myself the way others do

You do not need to explain, to Queer or Black or Disabled people in America, that you can't always have a perfect thing. That is not news to us. You are not providing new information. It is the height of arrogance to assume that's not already part of our understanding of the world.

If you don’t already you should look into Shell Fuel Rewards. I’m up to 10¢ off a gallon. And they often run promos for up to 30¢ off a gallon. Hope this helps. 🤗

Conundrum for Big Oil having to decide between accepting worsening storms destroying their production factories for expense savings or not warming the earth to produce extra charged floods that knock out their asset production facilities they’ll choose wrong. 100%

the whole blocking thing is funny cause it prepares you to take action for when you catch the block. which is more than I would’ve done w/o anticipating being blocked. another example how measuring things changes the outcome
