A useful column in the proteinGroups.txt report from @maxquant.bsky.social is Identification Type. It enables you to identify if a protein was detected with an MS/MS spectrum or using the Match Between Runs feature. The DIA software developers need to add this.
How much of my 10GB RAW file is the unchangedome? This model can't persist. RAW files contain a lot of blank space. For images folk use pickling, we need something similar for RAW files.

I feel like I have been sleeping on this one: This guy: peptideatlas.org/thisp/ A major gripe when looking at others work is what database did they use and did it contain a load of trash. This database has a four level system for dealing with that and its well maintained.
