I just want to scream or maybe just cry. I've been trying to find my daughter help for Selective Mutism and can't seem to get anywhere. She's been previously dropped by a therapist and now I can't seem to find one who can confidently help her. I've called several places who say they don't think

To the people complaining these sex abuse cases have created a world where men now have to think 10 times before they touch a woman. Yes, that's the point. It's called consent. Welcome to human decency.

I keep being told that I'm too young to be in perimenopause, but why tf do I keep waking up at 3am every night hot and can't sleep? Why do my ears itch? Why do I have brain fog? I haven't been myself for several months now and get told to sleep more. It's not working.

Felt like a Disney princess as I was trimming off a couple dead branches from our tree in the front yard, and had 3 hummingbirds that kept flying around me. I love hummingbirds. 💜

Can I just get a break from medical issues? That'd be great. My shoulder is starting to feel quite a bit better(yay!), but now my Lymphatic Malformation has flared up. Wtf. Can my body just be normal for a bit? Just do what it's supposed to do. That's all I'm asking. 😢😂🤞

Today's radical seed planting: bought an extra copy of Never Again, For Anyone - a book I really wish had existed when I was a kid - and put it in a Little Free Library.

My hand holds the book Never Again for Anyone, by Stacy Friedman, illustrated by Elly Stern, in front of an open Little Free Library that is painted dark blue. The cover has a light blue background with white swirls and depicts two pairs of moms with their kids holding a protest sign with the book's title on it. On one side is a white Jewish mom with curly brown hair and a red shirt and her son with curly brown hair and a green hoodie. On the other side is an Arab mom wearing a green hijab and a keffiyeh, and her daughter with long black hair and a yellow and purple shirt.

Yay for positive things. 1 - I finally slept through the night. The muscle relaxer helped a lot. 2 - The IRS **FINALLY** gave us our tax refund!! It took them months to verify our account. Hope to never deal with that again.

Went to CVS minute clinic and was prescribed some muscle relaxer to take at night. I just want to be able to sleep through the night. My neck/shoulder pain has been waking me up at 3 am. I somehow hurt my trapezius muscle and it's been rough. Hoping to get rest tonight.

Yesterday we went to a Mexico Independence Day celebration at a local place. Mariachi, other music, and good food. We always try to expose our kids to both cultures and I'm so glad we went. It was fun.

A 40-year-old unvaccinated woman in Pennsylvania has just died from measles. There is no controversy. She needlessly died from a disease that is preventable with a vaccine. But HHS Secretary RFK Jr. thinks measles isn’t that bad. Nobody should die of measles in the United States.

Pennsylvania woman dies of measles-related complications, local coroner says

The 40-year-old woman, who was from Jefferson County was unvaccinated, according to the coroner. The state health department is conducting a "thorough review" of the case.

I'm having deja vu. Election day is just 2 months away and Democrats are infighting. People are refusing to vote for candidates unless they tick off every box that they want. FFS please don't. That's how we got here and I'm tired. Do we not learn?

This has been the most awful week. Between being sick and having more medical issues, I've been on the struggle bus. I'm so exhausted. I don't know what's going on with my body, but I'd really like to get back to feeling normal please.
