Mainstream American culture is deeply evil and disgusting and based on patriarchy, heteronormativity, ableism and white supremacy. So when something is so widely embraced by that culture it is often not a good thing.

Go to the dogs with a #FrightClub double feature Saturday, beginning with Fido (2006) at 10 PM ET. Available on Tubi. Then we continue at 11:45 PM ET with Rabbit Trap (2025). Available on Tubi and Prime. We'll make great pets.

Poster for Fido (2006) from fanart.tv. Uploaded by site user demiansamuel. It's a very atypical image for this movie in that it's a quiet scene and rather pretty, orange-hued sunset silhouettes of a family with their Fido.Poster for Rabbit Trap (2025). There's a guy in the woods looking like he's done a few hallucinogens. Also, the woods around him look like we've done a few hallucinogens. It is a "striking fantasy fairy tale" apparently.

"Take a long walk off a short pier" is one of the meanest things you can say to someone but it's totally fine to say in most social media. But when I tell someone to "jump off a building" it gets flagged. What's the difference.

I’m glad that the walls seem to be closing in on Andrew Tate, but it took criminal investigations across three countries, dozens of outspoken victims, and a hit TV show implying he drives boys to murder girls for this to happen—and he still hasn’t been convicted yet. This is why 98% get away with it

The fact that VP JD Vance and Richard Grenell went to Romania—on behalf of the Trump Administration— to advocate for Andrew and Tristan Tate, who by all accounts, were rapists running a coercive sex ring, then permitted them to come to Florida, should be a crazy, crazy scandal.

It's crazy how I will just randomly hate people for reasons I can't put my finger on then eventually they reveal they are total pieces of shit and I'm like "oh okay that's the reason" anyway this post is about Ti West

The first UK criminal investigation against Andrew Tate was dismissed for “an ounce of doubt.” It haunts me. It really does. They almost always get away with it, and they go on to hurt so many more people because of that.
