Click links. That's it. You see a Kobo link here? Click it. Kobo is transparent about how their rankings work--it's a dynamic system, sorting books by "temperature". Sales very much matter! And also: clicks. All this contributes to a book's "temperature".

this is insanely good value for your second-half-of-summer reading. And not just fiction. Cookbooks, poetry, history, small press awesomeness - it's the best.

There's a situation unfolding in the land of online bookselling that I haven't discussed primarily because I have little information to share. An unknown company is making multi-volume purchases, and when I say multi-, I mean some of us have been getting 500 orders a week. For REALLY random books.
