If I enjoy doing what I do, even when no one is looking, then I must keep doing it right, for my own happiness? I have to remind myself this thought from time to time, if I wanna improve at art and fix my mental health while doing it as i used to.
Lately, my mental state is somewhere between better than I ever expected and more uncertain than it has ever been.
Getting depressed by the headlines and thinking about the Ukrainian devs who somehow finished their game in the middle of a war. Sure, it's "just a video game," but sometimes being creative is an act of defiance and determination. Sometimes being creative is what keeps you going in a cruel world
