The last Microsoft console I bought was the Xbox 360 because everything after that was truly awful. It looks like PS5 is going to be my last Sony console due to Sony discontinuing physical releases. So that leaves Nintendo, and I'm still waiting for them to put a decent display on the Switch 2.

Surely whenever there is a hosepipe ban, access to social media could also be temporarily banned because it would save so much water (data center) with no long term consequences.

First time seeing Ferrari's Luce EV and the stand out feature for me has to be the inclusion of the smiley face emoji on the top of the dash. Very classy Ferrari.

Hearing fresh talk of Project Helix. I think it's important to remember that the only time Microsoft has ever been successful with gaming hardware is when the competition screwed up (PS3 launch/dev support) or decided to not directly compete (Wii). Helix is unlikely to succeed.

We've reached a point where a streaming service offering a 30% discount if you "gift 5+ subs" is celebrated by viewers. I don't like this reality.

I really wish G-Mode would take the time to source an English translation for all the games they are releasing on Steam right now. They'd get so many more sales!

uBlock Origin is a lifesaver... just used it to remove the awful "Most Relevant" and "Shorts" rows from my YouTube Subscriptions page. I pay for YouTube Premium, and yet I can't choose what I see so have to turn to a plug-in, which is ridiculous!

My typical process for (not buying) new PC games: 1. See new game released on Steam 2. Decide I'd like to play it 3. See it has Denuvo DRM 4. Add to wishlist and wait for DRM to be removed 5. Developer misses out on my buying game at full price or never buying if DRM remains

Apparently if you aren't angry on the Internet now there's something wrong with you, even if you're talking common sense, and this makes people even angrier. Maybe common sense using angry language would trick people into thinking I'm "normal" 🤔

this is a reminder to everyone that when Amazon UK takes the payment for your annual Prime membership it also automatically TURNS OFF the reminder for next year so you aren't warned in advance before payment is taken again. You are expected to remember and go and turn it back on
