I do actually think that it might be a bit reductive for people to just be calling Ralsei a girl because the very clear throughline is that they're interfacing with the concept of having an identity at all for the first time

If i can describe and compare Tanpre to previous seasons, is that it feels like an Umezawa era quality back then
I gen think Tanpre is their way of testing the waters for the Newgens precure fans on there. The drama, the mental turmoil, the mysteries, the challenges of conflicting idealogy again hence why they risked it all. Who knows if the tone of the writing is back to their roots for the next seasons
