Just a few hours, now, until the truth emerges (things you can post if you've been producing a long-running murder mystery and also if you're a psycho about to embark upon some sort of terrible crime).

Everyone's talking about it! Episode 23, Dead Of Night, will get us most of the way there. Out late tonight (Patreon); early tomorrow morning (the masses).
Well, I've briefed the, shall we say, three or four people involved in recording the final episode, and the last recording session is set.
The 22nd of our 24 episodes, 'The Things You Can't Buy', is now out. Hurry! It will be taken down again at midday (this isn't true).
Episode 22 is in the works, the antepenultimate chapter in our story. After its release, I'm going to use Bluesky's new group chat feature and have a post-match discussion with fifty of you. No, joking.
Episode 21 is out, of course. 'Sleeping Arrangements' it's called. We're pretty close to the dénouement, now. I suppose we don't need the accent; the word has been borrowed wholesale from French. Anyway, there it is.
Episode 20, Leave No Trace, is up and waiting for your little ears. No, I didn't mean they're *particularly* little. You've got nice ears. Nice, normal ears. YOUR EARS ARE FINE OK
The story continues on Sunday with episode 19, Mad People With Money. Jot and I recorded at 11pm this week to finish it off. That's how much we love you. Get ready.
The podcast returns next Sunday, for the final run of six episodes, 19-24... with the finale, the 25th, to follow THAT. Not completely sure about the timing of that. Tantalising, isn't it?
This episode is there for your immediate enjoyment.
Episode 18, 'The Edge', on its way. It is not about the gentleman from U2 but it is about all sorts of other stuff. Once more, some answers, some questions. I think it's a good one. After this, there will be the traditional two-week break to let you really stew before the final run of chapters.

Episode 17 is out now on Patreon and will reach the rest of the world at 6am UK time. This is quite a good one.
Episode 17, Nature's Bounty, will be with you this weekend. There's an awful lot of information this one. Some of it even true.
Hello, sorry, in case you hadn't already worked it out: there is no new episode this week. It's just been impossible with my whole going to Australia thing. The story hots up again next week.
We are nearly there with Episode 15, Only You And The Water. Slightly shorter than usual; most of it just Hugh banging on. But some fairly important stuff, and one of Calum's most smouldering moments, for those who like that sort of thing. The Patreon people will get it early this evening.
Episode 14, 'Main Character', emerged from the ether late last night and is now sitting there waiting to entertain you. Features a wonderful turn from @misterabk.bsky.social among the usual perplexing goings-on.
There's a silly little 'outtakes' video up on the Patreon now. Meanwhile today we recorded with a guest star I'm very very pleased about.
Amazing download numbers today, thank you all. Especially given the Patreon 'pre-release'. Now, anyone got a good idea for episode 14?
OK, I think the new episode is out on Patreon. I think. Normal service at 6am (our time) regardless, of course.
Anyway, look, we're almost back. Episode 13. We'll find out who is dead; we'll go to a members' club and a shoe shop; we'll hear a bit of Hugh's past and learn of a strange event taking place in his immediate future - on his birthday, in fact. Patreon subscribers get it ad-free late on Sat night.
Meanwhile, follow @thebuzzsocial.bsky.social for unofficial - sometimes very unofficial - commentary and gossip on the ongoing Stevie Chase investigation. (You should already be following @larsum.com if you want to see good things.)
I've brought the entirety of this @murderbastard.bsky.social side project over here now. The Author™️ asked me for some interaction with the content. Jay, @ceri.io , @joyousechidna.bsky.social and I have provided/are providing this.
I THINK you can now 'tip' the podcast at this Ko-fi page. Several people made me do this. It feels a bit much with the Patreon already in place, but not everyone *can* commit to a Patreon. Anyway, anything it gets will go to cast and other currently unpaid labourers. ko-fi.com/moafb

Today we recorded a little 'behind the scenes' chat, so if you're on the Patreon, you'll see that soon (after ep 13 comes out). I thought I'd mention it so you know I hadn't forgotten that part of the promise. Also, later today on the Patreon there will be a bit of SURPRISE NEW WRITING. Thanks!
What an awful terrible wait! But episode 13 is with us at the weekend. We'll find out who else is dead and what Hugh is going to do next. The title of the episode would be a bit of a spoiler, but it relates to a detail of the murder night you heard a long time ago.
The last episode is now available on my delightful new Patreon with *no advertisements* and over the coming days I'll put all the other ones up there in similarly pure form. As well as a frankly unwise number of other perks and benefits for subscribers. www.patreon.com/MarkWatsonWo...

Thanks to everyone who has signed up for the Patreon! I know I talked about 'supporting the project' and so on but I've already spent all the money on opium.
Episode 12 is ready for you. Are you ready for *it*, though? I suppose it depends on whether you (a) have listened to the previous 11; (b) have more pressing things to be getting on with. Anyway, it's there and you might will find you enjoy it.
That's right, there is now a Patreon so you can support the podcast (and the continuation of my life, in troubled times for writers). But it's not even officially launched yet, so you shouldn't know. Shush! www.patreon.com/MarkWatsonWo...

It took me no time at all to decide to join the @watsoncomedian.bsky.social Patreon (soft launched on the @murderbastard.bsky.social discord—go join the server if you wanna subscribe!) bc this little (big) podcast has been keeping me afloat amid some crummy times and pushing my creativity, too.
