It seems that I need it to be average under 80 degrees outside to motivate myself to be productive. So I'm going to try. I still have a harder time on current social media, so tumblr will be most active, but I will try and check in here more. In the mean time, have a piece I did for an old friend.

You're not going to be able to draw everything perfectly in your comic, ur gonna have weird looking cars or buildings, or hands- And i want you to know that's fine Readers spend seconds per panel- as long as things are clear narratively, keep going! Dont get stuck on making every panel a masterpiece

I tried to find most of my friends from the bird site and migrate to watching them here or tumblr. If I missed you, slap me, it was not intentional. I am sitting on my name there, and didn't delete anything, but I don't see myself posting images there again. Annual con schedule post... maybe.

Hey folks! Do you know the Teal Pumpkin Project? It's a way to let kids with food allergies go Trick-or-Treat to your house! All you gotta do is hand out something that ISN'T CANDY! (You can still hand out candy too.) And if you want, post your address on their treats map (you can be anonymous).

I came across an outdated guide on image grid sizing crop/proportions for bsky earlier, and I felt it was important to create an updated version! Please use this new guide instead!

Up-to-date BlueSky Crop Aspect Ratio Crop Sizes for Bluesky as of 18 Oct 2024 By default, single images are uncropped. If image is too tall (Exceeds the 1:2 aspect ratio) then it will be cropped. Single images that are too tall may be scaled down but aspect ratio is preserved With two images, both of them share a square aspect ratio of 1:1 For three images, the first image is square (1:1) while the other two are half-squares (2:1) And for 4 images, all of them are 3:2

Ah, it looks like things might become more regular over here and I should probably try and get into a habit for this place. We shall see how that goes. The scroll is still the scroll and kinda makes my brain twitch in the wrong ways, but I do miss folks.

So I wanted to use this place more. But sometime in January I started playing FFXIV. I don't have a full blown problem YET, but I am going to have to work out a gaming/art schedule again to be happy with myself. I am also painting the walls in my workroom which doesn't help my productivity either.

Heyo, it's 2024 now! For almost a week! Doesn't feel like it! Weird mix of "it's so many days!" and "ONLY?!?!?!" but then my internal chronometers are thrown completely at this point.

Got myself a new pc. it glows. It is very much faster and doesn't freak out when I play games that aren't flat point'n'click indies. So. Uh. That may be why I have been quiet still. Or I don't know. I am going to try and make myself a schedule for using socials. Infrequent but regular check ins.

Haha, so between now and the last post... my day job got to deal with a covid outbreak and we were basically down a full third of the staff for about a fortnight. wheeeeee. needless to say, my focus has been elsewhere. On the bright side: I never caught it, I just had to close everyday.
